Sarah is a Maryland native who has called Georgetown, Kentucky home for the past decade. She is a very dedicated Y-Kid as her YMCA journey began at a young age, growing up in YMCA childcare and summer programs before joining Y-Club in the seventh grade and participating in KYA, KUNA, and LTC throughout middle and high school. Her connection to the Y has continued into adulthood through her work in YMCA childcare and involvement with the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association as a volunteer.

Sarah is currently pursuing her degree in Communication & Media Studies at Georgetown College, with minors in Art and Child Development. Her background in photography, social media, graphic design, photojournalism, and youth programming allows her to combine her love of creativity and storytelling with her passion for working with young people.

Having experienced the Y as a student, staff member, and volunteer, Sarah is excited to use storytelling and media to highlight the students, volunteers, and communities that make the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association special and help the next generation find their own home within the Y.
