Thomas is a proud native of Louisville, Kentucky, and a former KYA Editor-in-Chief. He started his Y journey in the 10th grade, attending his first conference virtually during the Covid-19 pandemic. Throughout his Y journey, he has attended multiple conferences and, after graduating, volunteered for The Y throughout his undergrad experience at Morehead State University, where he earned his bachelor’s in Sociology & Social Justice with a minor in Marketing.

He is passionate about energizing and empowering the next generation of leaders, equipping them with the best skills to set them up for success and to also be engaged civically for the rest of their lives.
