Kelaina is a Kentucky native who is passionate about serving her community by engaging young people and supporting programs that inspire youth to become active community advocates.
Originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, Kelaina has lived in Louisville for the past six years, working with students across the city to provide social-emotional learning and trauma-informed care resources. Through her work, she has helped create supportive environments where young people can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and thrive.
Kelaina is excited to bring her experience in youth development and afterschool programming to the Kentucky YMCA Youth Association, where she looks forward to empowering the next generation of leaders.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Louisville.
