She has helped launch and design programs at the city, state, and national levels, including Metro Youth Advocates and the Y’s National Youth Advocate Program.
For five years, Amanda served as the Chief Operating Officer, where she developed staff retention strategies and guided the Association’s budget and financials through the challenges of the pandemic.
Now, in her role as CEO/President, Amanda is leading the organization with a vision grounded in the Kentucky YMCA’s strategic plan. Her focus includes ensuring Kentuckians are aware of the Y’s impact and that every teen has the opportunity to have their life changed through KY YMCA programming. She is committed to strengthening the organization’s legacy so it remains strong for generations to come.
