Regional Support Across Kentucky

A Director of Program Outreach (DPO) is assigned to each region in Kentucky. DPOs actively:

1. Serve as KY YMCA ambassadors in your region. 
2. Recruit, train, and prepare students and advisors in the assigned region to participate in our statewide programs
3. Facilitate group discussion and teach program curriculum to participants and advisors.
4. Identify potential leaders within the assigned region and encourage development of leadership skills, with emphasis on deeper participation in Kentucky YMCA programs.
5. Gives presentations and trainings to partner organizations.
