Teens today focus on innovative opportunities to develop their character and self worth, share the thrill of empowerment, and strengthen the art of communication with their peers. Such activities instill a sense of ownership among them and help them better meet the challenges that face them daily. At LTC we will help our young friends accomplish these things by creating an open atmosphere for personal growth. Hundreds of teens from throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina will be coming together to share in this unique four-day experience at a secluded campus setting.

Program Curriculum Includes:

Clarifying Values, Uncapping leadership potential, Celebrating Diversity, Building and strengthening relationships, Discussing current social issues, Setting goals and action steps, Learning to be a Mentor.

Highlights of LTC

Family Sessions: small group sessions of self-discovery through sharing your beliefs & opening yourself to others

World Service Carnival: an afternoon of crazy fun and games to help raise awareness and money for YMCA World Service and our mission trip

Concert of Life: an inspiring evening performance

Bluegrass Blow-out: a night of hootenanny, square dancing, and just plain ole fun... Kentucky style

Fire o' Friendship: a magical moment during the final evening which brings together all the friendship, caring, and sharing expressed throughout the week
