Program Fees:

$185 per student with 4 students per room

Junior KYA

$185 $170* per student with 4 students per room
-Student Fees for Non-Members
$195 $180* per student with 4 students per room
*In an effort to conserve energy and minimize cost per student due to rising fuel costs, the half day in Frankfort has been removed from the schedule of the Junior KYA Conferences. It is suggested that the $15 per delegate savings deducted from the cost of the conference be used to assist your schools' transportation fuel costs.
In Three Days You Can:
~Share your ideas and opinions
~Run for state office
~Lobby for or against a bill
~Present a case before student justices
~Broadcast a news report
~Get down at the dance
~Meet Kentucky's coolest teens
Students can choose from several roles:
~Legislator/Bill Author- present and debate the important issues facing our state and nation
~Supreme Court Advocate- argue a real case before student justices (Senior Only)
~Elected Official- serve as Governor, Chief Justice, Speaker of the House, or another important executive leader at KYA
~Other Opportunities- students can also serve as clerks, lobbyists, or media corps members

All KYA Conferences will be held at the Crown Plaza Holiday Inn (formerly the Executive West Hotel) in Louisville, Kentucky
Students in grades 6-8 may attend Junior KYA.
Students in grades 9-12 may attend Senior KYA.

THE KENTUCKY YMCA WILL NOT ACCEPT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATIONS FOR KYA AFTER THIS DEADLINE!
