KUNA is a three-day experience in diplomacy that provides students and adult leaders with a greater appreciation for our global community through hands-on involvement with international issues and solutions. The conference is geared toward developing students’ international consciousness through role-play as they represent one of the members of the United Nations.
At KUNA students will
- Learn the importance of diplomacy as they share the views of the country they choose to represent
- Debate issues of the day that students have researched and written about while maintaining the perspective of their new citizenship
- Open the hearts, eyes and minds of students to cultural diversity and greater respect for human rights of all people
Junior KUNA is for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
Senior KUNA is for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12 graders.
